Veranda West Specialized Memory Care
Veranda West is a secure Memory Care Unit that provides skilled nursing care in a home-like environment with staff who are well-trained to care for individuals with memory impairments. Staff members are provided ongoing training and education in current developments in the care of residents with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia. Daily structured activities help residents maximize his or her independence and quality of life in a therapeutic and safe setting. Controlled exits allow individuals the freedom to enjoy the beautiful outdoor courtyard while maximizing his or her safety. Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia is hard; therefore, we make it our mission to not only care for our residents but also provide support for their family. Our staff plans quarterly care plan meetings with family members to keep them updated on the care and progress of their loved one.
